Presenting Project Legacy

Sweetness of Life & Motherhood Project Legacy

I’ve always had a special interest in the advocacy for underprivileged children. It’s that very compelling desire that has inspired me to begin using my blog to raise my voice. Project Legacy is my commitment to help strengthen continuing efforts of non-profits that advocate for underprivileged, at-risk children and pressing global issues.

Because I’m a blessed, thankful mom of two wonderfully brilliant, caring, fortunate children, it’s even more important to me that I raise my digital voice on behalf of the world’s less fortunate children.

And because I do believe it takes a village, I want to be an active member of the international village for children.

An ever-growing concern about the needs of our children and how we help today leads me to believe we must concentrate more deeply on not only what we’ll be leaving behind, but who we’ll be leaving behind.

Here, you’ll have an opportunity to raise your voice, too. I hope you’ll join me in the interest of advocacy for underprivileged children through Project Legacy.

While making monetary donations directly to supported charitable organizations is encouraged, Project Legacy is not about collecting money. It’s about collectively using our digital voices to help create a far-reaching awareness and offer inspiration to hard working non-profit organizations.

I invite you to get involved! Here are some ideas on how you can participate:

Submit informational guest posts written to help raise awareness and contribute to ongoing efforts of charities supporting underprivileged children. I would love to feature you and your favorite organization. Please email submissions to me or leave your thoughts below in the comment section.

Comment on posts that inspire you. Share those posts with your own family, friends and followers. Our goal is to spread awareness further through use of social media and the blogosphere.

Recommend individuals, causes or organizations advocating for underprivileged children (worldwide) that are meaningful to you and you would like to see featured here. Please email recommendations to me or leave your thoughts below.
